1) Lift weights 3-4 times a week – Muscle growth is triggered when you lift weights. Lifting weight adds stress to muscles and this causes it to expand. For building muscles, you have to lift weights. You may be tempted to lift heavy weights initially, but would be harming your body in the process. You lift light weights initially and over periods of time you will able to do those heavy bench-press exercises. You have to take sufficient rest between exercises so that you do not stress yourself which might cause strain and muscle pulls.

2) Eat 5 -7 well balanced meals a day – These meals should have heavy components of protein carbohydrates and fat. These meals will give you the energy and the strength to work out. However for a 21st century professional having 5-7 meals is not practical, and then you have some protein bars, bananas. These will do for those meals which one is supposed to have.

3) You should concentrate on cardio vascular exercises – All cardio vascular exercises stretch the joints. The problem weight lifting is that it causes pain to the muscle. Proper stretching techniques help you get rid of the pain. This also lessens the risk of injury and also increases the efficiency of muscle building dramatically.

4) Do consume supplements< that have not been in the market for less than three years. – This has been the advice of experts. Some of the supplements which one can intake would be high quality mufti vitamins, fish oil capsules, creatine powder and protein powder.

The above steps will help you get that perfect physique which you aspire. The earlier in life you start the faster you will build and this will also help you face other challenges in life.
