1) A Diet Plan – The first step to work out at home is to create a proper diet plan. It very important that you plan a proper diet. A diet is one of the major components that help shape a proper physique. Try gathering information from your knowledgeable friends and if you are very serious visit a nutritionist to suggest a proper diet plan.
2) Equipment – You would require some equipment for working out at home. Since you will face space constraints you can buy free weights and choose one that you are easily able to work out with. This is important because if you try to carry weight beyond your limit, you will have back aches and muscle sprains.
3) The Workout Schedule – The key is design a proper workout schedule. The challenge is to work out without a gym instructor and heavy equipment. If you are initially when you start out, you can work with light weights on alternate days. The advantage of working out at home is that most of the exercises suggested focus on cardio, and these exercises energize and give flexibility to the body. The suggested workout routine would be do sets of sit ups, pull ups and running on the spot. You then lift weights and finish the routine with stretching exercises; you should dedicate at least half an hour for these routines.
Finally you have to motivate yourself, so that you do this on a regularly. You have to have immense mental strength and be passionate to have a good physique. This can be done by reading motivational stories, listening to music while working out and so on.
